Professor of department of fundamental mathematics, doctor of sciences in physics and mathematics
I graduated Kharkov State University (1971) and finished post-graduate studies at Physico-Technical Institute of Low Temperatures (ILT) of Academy of Sciences of USSR (1974) by the speciality “Mathematical Physics”. PhD thesis (1978) – “System of Equations for the Vertex Functions of the T-Exponent”, Doctor of Mathematics thesis (2004) – “Bimodal Approximate Solutions of the Boltzmann Equation”. Since 1974 – Assistant, 1987 – Associated Professor, 2005 – Professor of the Department of Mathematical Analysis. From 2005 to 2015 I was the Head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis. Since 2011 academic rank – Professor.
The member of Scientific Councils on PhD and Doctor thesis defence in V.N. KarazinKharkov University and B.I. Verkin ILT of NationalAcademy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The area of scientific interests – kinetic theory, especially, the theory of nonlinear kinetic Boltzmann Equation. I am an author of more than 60 scientific works, which satisfy the requirements of Ukrainian VAK and more than 30 of them are published in domestic and foreign journals with impact-factor. I am an scientific supervisor of two PhD thesis and more than 40 diploma works. I was the opponent of several PhD and Doctoral thesis.
I am one of the leading lector of the faculty. Main courses: mathematical analysis, functional analysis, special courses in mathematical physics and so on.

In 2000 received scientific degree «Full Professor» , the thesis entitled «Professor of Department of Fundamental mathematics».
